I’m posting it here, because I reblogged a post about it from someone else, then I got curious and googled it.
I just… you know. I don’t know how I feel about this.
Witchcraft? Imbreeding? Murder?
Where does stuff like this come from?
The legend itself is unsettling, but… lets think about how it got started?
Was there a kid with hydrocephalus in the neighborhood that creeped people out? Because.. I mean, lets face it. As common as the condition is… most people don’t use it as a common household term.
So… what made someone decide that these kids with hydrocephalus, were some kind of horror movie monsters?
Sigh. Blogging about this was probably a bad idea…. because, well, quite frankly, it makes me want to go all urban legend “melonhead” on someone.
